Bryce Jones joins CropTrak sales team!

CropTrak welcomes Sales Engineer Bryce Jones!

CropTrak, a leading global SaaS platform utilized for enterprise farm, food and compliance data capture and reporting, is pleased to announce that Bryce Jones has joined our team as a Sales Engineer.

Growing up in rural eastern North Carolina, Bryce has long understood the importance of agriculture and what it takes to get the job done at the farm gate.  After obtaining an Accounting degree from East Carolina University he began his career in the Ag retail sector.  There he worked in many areas of the business pertaining to inventory management, seed processing, and internal programs with a main concentration in precision ag technologies deployment. 

Bryce worked closely with growers assisting them with agricultural technologies on their own farming operations and showing them the value in the data collection process.  Through Croptrak, Bryce was able to position the tool down at the grower level to help minimize their cumbersome data collection process by simplifying the way data was gathered and reported.  Along with experience in grower relations, Bryce also holds a certificate of completion from the digital Precision Agriculture program at Purdue University.

Indiana based Brett Roberts comes to CropTrak with over 20 years of agricultural industry experience inclusive of research, laboratory and sales management positions.

Brett started his professional career with the USDA-ARS before becoming a testing manager for Dow AgroSciences (Mycogen Seeds). He continued his agricultural and food safety focus by holding sales management positions with SGS North America, Agdia Inc., and Roka Biosciences. Ultimately Brett co-founded Joenks Farm Naturals, an internet-based animal feed delivery company and maintains his seed sampler authorization for ISTA (International Seed Testing Association).

When asked what excites him about joining the CropTrak team, Roberts said, “I’ve had the distinct privilege of doing business with a number of agriculture and food industry service companies where typically the service and product offerings were rigid, but that’s not the case with CropTrak. Frankly, the flexibility of the CropTrak platform is unlike anything else in the marketplace today.”

Stewart is based out of Des Moines, Iowa and brings 25 years of agricultural industry experience in data and engineering analytics technology to CropTrak. He began his career with a degree in Finance (Analytics) from Iowa State University, supported by extensive coursework in Architecture, Engineering, and History. All have proved useful. For nearly his entire career Stewart has been working on improvements to agricultural processes, designs, and information (through data collection, analysis, and visualization).  

He has enjoyed both sales and leadership roles (with companies such as John Deere and Proagrica) and is always focused on the client’s intrinsic needs to add value to their business. His background in multi-dimensional data sciences helps him to understand how CropTrak’s solutions can best be delivered to each unique client.

Nathan Frye joins CropTrak’s Enterprise Accounts team!

Nathan will be based out of North Carolina and brings a unique skillset and desire to serve the agriculture industry to CropTrak. Growing up on a family farm, Nathan identified early on the day-to-day challenges that the industry and individual farmer face, and vowed to one day make a difference. He holds a degree in Agricultural Business Management from NC State University.

Nathan’s background includes a combination of finance and technology sales. He worked for several years at CAPTRUST Financial Advisors, where he held a Series 7 License and marketed advisory services to retirement plan sponsors. Most recently, Nathan served as a Regional Vice President at FISCAL Technologies. There he worked with finance teams, empowering them with a preventative enterprise suite that enhanced compliance and provided process improvements.

The combination of these career experiences has led him to join the CropTrak team. “I am passionate about serving the agriculture industry and look forward to offering CropTrak’s customizable SaaS solutions while becoming a trusted advisor to our customers.”
